Whether you need a fitness trainer, personal cheerleader, or just someone to count on for motivation, I’m your girl. I started SWS in March 2020 to help others find confidence in their bodies and balance in their wellness routine. But it didn’t always come so easily to me...

When I graduated college, I was obsessed with going to workout studios in NYC. But whenever I left, I always felt like there was something missing. I kept on searching for that ‘something’ by taking classes 7 days a week with no rest days. What I thought was good for me at the time, was actually doing a lot more harm than anything else. I was exhausted, starving, and punishing myself through under-eating and over exercising.

It wasn’t until the pandemic hit when I was able to face these uncomfortable truths about myself and my relationship with fitness. I realized I only have one life to live, and one body to live it in. So I made some changes. I started working out less, eating more, and listening to my body - wow what a concept. I began creating my own workout method based on feeling good from the inside out.

Wanting to share my passion and my new and improved mindset around fitness, I turned to a small group of friends to see if they would workout with me over Zoom. Suddenly I realized that ‘something’ I was missing, for so many years, was a community of like-minded people 💗 Through teaching, I’ve found a deep passion for uplifting others. Spreading joy gives ME joy. If others are feeling good, I’m feeling just as good, baby.

This ‘new me’ did not come overnight. I still struggle every now and then with body image, consistency, patience… but by showing up for myself and focusing on the benefits of my wellness routine, I’ve created some powerful habits that ultimately have bloomed into a vibrant lifestyle🌷

I’ve been able to cultivate a positive mindset that fuels me every day. I no longer define myself by the way I look or weigh, but by how I feel and how I show up in the world. I’m able to share a little bit of this through my dynamic and expressive classes and that’s what I think makes them so special. Oh and the music. Don’t forget about the music 🕺🏻
